Rada was born in a refugee camp in Germany Dec. 8, 1950. Six weeks after she was born her parents were allowed to immigrate to the United States. She is forever grateful to the Serbian Church for helping her family to come to America. The second of four daughters born to Marija and Lazar Jandrich, Rada never forgets the sacrifice her parents made to offer a better life for their family.
Rada was raised in northern Indiana and had the great opportunity to study @ the School of Music , Indiana University, in Bloomington, In. Her mother discovered her passion for music and the piano at the age of seven and was a constant fan and gentle encourager of Rada's passion for music. Rada fondly recalls how she taught her mother to play the piano while her mother was in her 40's.
After many years of teaching music and performing in the greater San Diego area, Rada and her husband Chip moved to Colorado.
Rada credits the beautiful home her husband Chip built , the studio in her home and the beautiful southern Colorado environment for the creativity process which was to follow.
She practices and writes daily. She has recorded 5 cds of original piano music and also 1 cd of her Christmas arrangements. She is currently planning to record her 6th original cd later this summer.
Her music is played internationally and she is grateful to her fans for their support.
